Again, you will have to wait until Friday for a full column, but before the first pitch is thrown in about thirty minutes, I wanted to post my World Series pick.
I'm rooting for Colorado. I'm a National League fan, I like teams that have a core group of home-grown players, and I think it's an amazing story that this squad came from so far down to end the year, got a lucky call in a one-game playoff game, and then just hasn't stopped winning. But I'm not sure how they will adjust to the long layoff, and I don't like any teams shot against Josh Beckett and Curt Schilling. So I'm going with Red Sox in six games. But, as allways, I could be horribly wrong and the Rockies might just end up sweeping.
